Lend Lease Projects has an ongoing role at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London where we are project managing a number of discrete projects forming part of the museum’s £150 million Future Plan. We have completed 15 projects to date including the Architecture Gallery, the John Madejski Garden, the Stained Glass and Sacred Silver Gallery and the Jameel Gallery of Islamic Art.

We are also project managing the £111 redevelopment of the Royal Festival Hall site on London’s South Bank with a retail development, forming Phase 1, completing in August 2005. Phase 2 involves the refurbishment of the main auditorium that will re-open in the summer of 2007. A new extension building, providing staff accommodation, was completed in April 2006.

For the National Museums of Scotland, we are assisting in the £40 million transformation of the Royal Museum in Edinburgh.

Our experience in the leisure sector has focused on hotel roll out programs for Accor and the management of exhibition venues including Earls Court in London. We have also been involved in a range of sports projects, many of which form part of our higher education portfolio.

Lend Lease Projects delivers a comprehensive regeneration service to create a ‘sense of place’ in which people can live, work and enjoy life. We invest much time in understanding the aspirations of the community. We are able to determine the right range and level of services to be provided, such as education and healthcare, and our commitment to economic, environmental and cultural sustainability, including job creation, lies at the heart of the company’s urban regeneration philosophy.

For Sunderland arc (a partnership between English Partnerships, One North East and Sunderland City Council), Lend Lease Projects is providing program and project management services to assist in the redevelopment of approximately 800 acres around Sunderland city centre with specific responsibility for delivering two mixed-use schemes at Stadium Park and Farringdon Row.

Lend Lease Projects is also providing development project management expertise to First Base Partnership, an investment and development company that designs, builds, funds and manages stylish, high quality and affordable homes in London and the south east.

Jobcentre Plus, Department for Work and PensionsGovernment
Lend Lease Projects has an excellent track record in working with both central and local government. In particular, we have provided a multi-disciplinary team for the £750 million, four-year Jobcentre Plus roll out program, working on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Jobcentre Plus is one of the first large scale ‘fast track’ roll out projects to be carried out by the public sector and has drawn on Lend Lease Projects’ program management skills to deliver multi-site projects on a local, regional and national scale, adopting a true partnering approach with the DWP, contractors and suppliers. We have also provided design, commercial, project and health and safety management services.

In 2005 Lend Lease Projects secured a place on the OGCbuying.solutions (OGCbs) framework through the OJEU procedure under which we qualified to provide project management and full design services to the public sector. The OGCbs framework enables government departments and authorities to achieve greater efficiency and is creating value for money improvements in the government’s procurement budget.

To date, Lend Lease Projects has received six commissions under the OGCbs framework for a diverse range of public sector clients.

</font>BT Centre, LondonOffices
Lend Lease Projects understands the exacting requirements of its clients, be it as investor, owner/occupier or landlord, to provide high quality and flexible office space.

As a national framework project manager for BT, our move management expertise was applied to its headquarters building in London when the occupancy doubled from 900 to 1800. The project required careful management of each individual’s technical and accommodation needs while ensuring continuity of business during the refurbishment works.

Lend Lease Projects also project managed a national program of works for the BBC involving the new build, fit out or refurbishment of radio broadcasting studios, offices and support facilities.

Lend Lease Projects has also established a reputation for delivering a first-class technical due diligence service to major investors in the commercial market. In a relationship that has developed over four years we have received instructions from Deutsche Bank Real Estate for 32 assignments relating to over 3.3 million square feet of acquisitions in the commercial office and logistics sectors in the UK. We have consequently provided this service in Milan and Singapore. We have recently offered this service to Blue Capital GmbH.
